The Daniel W. Toshach Scholarship/AIA Saginaw Valley Scholarship

The Daniel W. Toshach Scholarship was originally founded in 2008 by Clarice Toshach and AIA Saginaw Valley to honor her husband and our own Saginaw-based Architect, Daniel W. Toshach, who founded the firm TSSF in 1957. While Daniel was the architect behind numerous buildings throughout the area like Pioneer Hall on Saginaw Valley's campus, perhaps his most prominent and well known would be the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth. Our scholarship is administered by the Michigan Architectural Fund and was originally endowed at $1,500 increasing later to $2,000.

After much discussion and with the understanding of the financial burdens higher education can create, the AIA SV board is excited to announce a fundraising campaign to increase our Daniel W. Toshach scholarship amount from $2,000 to $2,500.
