AIA Michigan | Practice Innovation Lab 2019
Following the success at the National Level, AIA Michigan’s Practice Innovation Lab activates our local membership to think collectively about the future of architecture. This event will catalyze emerging professionals in discussion and collaborating in new concepts in professional practice that are contemporary to today’s values and participants. Workplace culture, diversity and inclusion, project delivery, and the concepts of “practice” are all up for innovation. Using a full one-day workshop format, participants will gather to share ideas and discuss their vision for the future.
Organized by a team of young architects / associates for our Michigan Chapter Emerging Professionals who have invited a range of experts who are creative innovators. Collectively, these individuals will present, mentor, and advise to AIA membership, primarily Emerging Professionals.
A limited to a total of 30 participants including students, AIA members, and College of Fellows to ensuring work groups have diverse viewpoints. Our local chapter / section boards are encouraged to nominate candidates, although applicants are not required to be AIA members in good-standing, consideration is given to those who are.
Participant fees are kept at a minimum to allow AIA and AIAS members the ability to join without financial barrier. A credit card will be kept of file for ALL PARTICIPANTS for a no-show fee.
